Hypothesis of the Primeval Atom
Everything must have been
much closer in the past
before the universe’s first minutes
rapidly expanding and cooling.
The fabric of time and space
comes into existence at a point
and expands forward in time,
attracting nearby dark matter.
The oscillatory universe
is infused with dark energy;
gravity gains the upper hand
slowly breaking the expansion.
Space accelerates everywhere
along the cosmic distance ladder
driving apart regions in equilibrium
governing galaxies and equations.

Classical Mechanics
The motion of physical objects,
the scales and speeds of life
have been expressed in several ways
and can be summarized as follows:
every body will persist in its state of rest
corpus omne perseverae in statu
or of uniform motion (constant velocity)
vel movendi uniformiter in directum
a force is necessary to change.
no force is needed to maintain.
